  • Feed - our favorite brunch place! Gwyn always gets the Shakshouka and Josh gets the Monte Cristo

  • Wild Crumb Bakery - winner of the Outstanding Bakery James Beard Award, this place has the best. Pastries. Ever.

  • Finks Delicatessen - located right next to Wild Crumb, Finks is a great lunch spot with an amazing turkey sandwich!

  • I-ho’s - the best Korean food around and our go-to dinner place, especially for anyone visiting!

  • Feast - location of our engagement dinner and one of our favorite dinner places. Must have the daily ceviche and salt roasted oysters

Drink

Yellowstone National Park

  • Getting there: the north entrance of Yellowstone in Gardiner is less than 40 minutes from Sage Lodge.

  • Key tips: be prepared for lots of driving, don’t pet the bison, don’t get close to any wildlife, and enjoy the views!

Out & About

Paradise Valley:

  • Pine Creek Falls - only 30 minutes from Sage Lodge, this 3.2 mile out-and-back with 600’ gain is an fun hike to two beautiful waterfalls. Continue on to Pine Creek Lake for a challenging hike totaling 10 miles and 3,654’ gain.

  • Fishing access - Paradise Valley is home to the Yellowstone River with several fishing access points, including Carter’s Bridge and Pine Creek Road. Don’t forget your fishing licenses!

Bozeman:

  • Hike to the M - a Bozeman staple, this steep hike takes you to the iconic “M” on the Bridgers. Different routes for different difficulties, a 1.9 mile loop and 823’ gain, or take the shortcut for a harder climb.

  • Drinking Horse - a short loop with views of Bozeman just outside of town, 2.4 miles and 666’ gain.

  • Triple Tree - a close to town hike with great views of Bozeman. Recommended shorter loop (45.6136854, -111.0010753) is 3.5 miles and 700’ gain, or 5.5 miles and 960’ gain from the trailhead.

  • Storm Castle Peak - a harder hike located 40 minutes from Bozeman. A steep trail with incredible lookouts. This is a 4.8 mile out-and-back with 1,843’ gain.

  • Lava Lake - one of our favorite hikes, only 35 minutes from Bozeman, this 5.2 mile out-and-back with 1604’ gain to a beautiful mountain lake.
